Spitalfields Festival

Spitalfields Festival is a local music festival and also runs a long-standing and highly-regarded education and community programme.  Since 1989, more than 43,000 people have been involved in its music workshops, performances and residencies, many of them children in local schools in Tower Hamlets.  The Festival embodies Spitalfields, an area of constant change, with a wealth of history and diversity, where 18th century architecture meets 21st century living and where east meets west.  Partner Andrew Blankfield is a trustee of the Festival and a member of its finance and legal committee.
