Practical Law Company: AIM listing -
highly recommended law firm 2006/2007 |
Our Equity Markets Practice provides advice to a strong
client base of fully listed and AIM listed companies as well as a
wide range of investment banks, brokers and nominated advisers.
The team currently acts for approximately 50 AIM listed
companies.
The Practice covers initial public offerings (IPOs), both on the
Main Market and the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange,
secondary issues (including rights' issues, open offers and vendor
placings), restructurings (including capital reorganisations and
schemes of arrangement) and related matters. We also have broad
experience of advising both the target and the bidder on takeovers
of listed companies (in both recommended and hostile
situations).
We regularly act for companies seeking to trade their shares
publicly for the first time, providing advice at every stage of the
process. We will ensure that the company is well-positioned for
listing by having appropriate procedures and structures in place
and provide ongoing corporate governance advice and support, once
the company's shares have been listed successfully.
Our practice has a strong international focus as we have acted
for many international companies seeking a primary or secondary
listing in the United Kingdom.
We also have extensive experience across a broad range of
sectors including natural resources, technology, financial
services, funds, retail, leisure, real estate, transport, media and life sciences.
