Shipbuilding
We advise on shipbuilding contracts for the construction of oil
tankers, LNG carriers, bulk carriers, cruise ships and other
vessels. We have acted over several decades for several of
the major Japanese yards which continues to allow us a detailed
understanding of the issues that arise.
Our experience covers the negotiation of the contract, issues
regarding the course of construction and, if necessary, dispute resolution. This experience
also contributes to our ship finance business, advising banks
and other financiers providing asset finance to owners.
