Field Fisher Waterhouse wins AIM lawyer of the year award

Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP has won the AIM lawyer of the year award at the Growth Company Awards 2007. The other firms shortlisted were Halliwells, Hammonds, Lawrence Graham and Pinsent Masons.

Growth Company Investor magazine compiled the shortlist for each of the Growth Company Awards by contacting all the chief executives of AIM listed companies and canvassing their opinions on professional advisers. This research was conducted in confidence, and those who made it to the shortlist achieved the highest approval ratings from the companies they act for.

Field Fisher Waterhouse advises 53 AIM listed companies and 16 nomads and brokers. Last year, the firm acted on 27 AIM flotations and in total 50 AIM listed transactions, with a total deal value of £750 million. Recent listings the firm has advised on include those for Sun TV Shop, Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited, AGI Therapeutics and Myhome International plc.

Anthony Brockbank, corporate partner at Field Fisher Waterhouse said: “We are delighted to win this award, especially as it demonstrates the strong standing we have amongst our clients.”
