Managing Partner Moira Gilmour shortlisted for Managing Partner
of the Year by British Legal Awards 2007
The firm's Managing Partner,
Moira Gilmour was selected as a finalist
for the Managing Partner of the Year Award at the British Legal
Awards 2007, run by Legal Week.
The finalists' selection was
closely associated with the success of their respective firms.
Moira was nominated for her leadership of Field Fisher
Waterhouse through a period of ambitious growth. Since
Moira took up the position in April 2006 she has overseen the
unveiling of a new European strategy with the launch of three new
offices in
Germany,
France and
Belgium as
well exclusive relationships with leading firms in Spain and
Italy. The firm has met ambitious financial targets and has
grown significantly, attracting new lateral hires and winning
high profile clients from both the public and private sectors,
nationally and internationally.
Under Moira's leadership the firm
has invested in new technology including the implementation of
a CRM system and has put in place a fully integrated
Corporate Social
Responsibility programme.
