We have a genuine international
practice. We advise clients on investments in Europe, Asia, the
Middle East, Pacific Rim and the Americas. 40% of our turnover
comes from international clients. In all of our areas of expertise,
we do work which has an international element, whether it is in the
fields of cross-border corporate transactions, international
franchising, rolling trade mark protection programmes,
international tax planning and international disputes and asset
tracing.
Our objective is simple. We aim to help our clients trade and
invest successfully on an international stage. Our experience in
understanding other cultural and legal approaches whilst providing
a consistent service across the firm is our greatest strength.
We have eight dedicated Country Desks – teams of lawyers who
specialise in advising clients from a particular country on English
law matters.
Each Country Desk includes lawyers across all key practice areas
of the firm, some of whom are dual qualified and are able to
provide legal assistance in the language of that country.
