FFW advises new client Global Natural Energy on admission to AIM
30 August 2005
Field Fisher Waterhouse (FFW) has advised Global Natural Energy
Plc on its delisting from the Official List of the London Stock
Exchange and its subsequent admission to AIM.
The company directors made the decision to switch after
recognising that the dynamic nature of AIM would help nurture the
deal based growth of the company. Global Natural Energy intends to
build up a European-based energy company, concentrating on gas and
petrol products. FFW Corporate partner Alex Woodfield advised the
company, which is the first instruction FFW has received from
Global Natural Energy since Alex joined in May this year. It is the
16th new AIM admission FFW has advised on in 2005.
The Right Honourable Lord Owen, Executive Chairman of Global
Natural Energy, said:
“We believe that AIM has evolved into a credible and effective
marketplace over recent years, which is more suitable for smaller
and medium-sized quoted companies of our size.”
Nabarro Wells & Co will act as the nominated adviser to the
company.
