FFW advises Sovereign Oilfield Group PLC on placing and admission to AIM

Field Fisher Waterhouse (FFW) acted for nominated adviser and
broker Charles Stanley & Co. Limited on Sovereign Oilfield
Group PLC's fundraising and admission to AIM. Sovereign
raised £5 million and came to AIM with a market capitalisation of
£20.1 million. Sovereign provides a variety of services to the
international oil and gas industry.
The FFW team was lead by corporate partner Dominic
Gurney-Champion and corporate assistant George Cotter. This
was the first AIM deal that Charles Stanley has instructed FFW
on.
This is the third AIM flotation on which FFW has advised in
September. The firm advised Consolidated Communications Corporation
plc on its flotation and also nominated advisers City Financial
Associates Limited and Seymour Pierce on the flotation of Pantheon
Leisure.
