Partner specialising in corporate and corporate litigation joins Field Fisher Waterhouse’s Brussels office

European law firm Field Fisher Waterhouse announced today that
Martine De Witte has joined the firm’s Brussels office as
partner. Her appointment will boost the firm’s Europe-wide
corporate practice and will bring the total number of lawyers in
Brussels to ten partners and 28 fee earners.
Martine’s practice focuses on the corporate concerns of
multinational companies operating in Europe. She has specific
experience in the representation of European, North American and
Asian clients in the information technology, telecommunications and
life sciences industries. Her practice spans a broad range of
corporate transactional and advisory work.
Martine also has over 20 years experience advising clients on
corporate litigation matters and has appeared in many trials before
the French and Dutch speaking courts in Belgium. Martine has
represented clients before the European Court of Human Rights in
Strasbourg, France, and the Disciplinary Council of Registered
Accountants in The Hague in the Netherlands.
Prior to joining Field Fisher Waterhouse, Martine was an partner
at Taylor Wessing. She also worked at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer &
Feld LLP for 14 years. She assists clients in English, French and
Dutch.
