Field Fisher Waterhouse advise Micro Focus International plc on $113 million acquisition of Borland Software Corporation

Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP has advised new client Micro Focus
International plc, a FTSE 250 software group providing application
management solutions, on its readmission to the Official List and
to trading on the main market of the London Stock Exchange. This
follows the acquisition and reverse takeover of Borland Software
Corporation for $113 million.
Completion of the acquisition and reverse takeover was approved
by shareholders of Micro Focus International plc at a general
meeting on 24 July 2009 and the company’s issued ordinary share
capital was readmitted to listing on the Official List and to
trading on the main market of the London Stock Exchange on 27 July
2009.
