Field Fisher Waterhouse appoints new corporate partner

Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP announces
today the appointment of corporate partner Tim Bird, who joins the firm from Wedlake Bell
where he was head of the corporate practice.
Tim has over 15 years' experience advising on
corporate law and advises on mergers and acquisitions, equity
capital markets, private equity and venture capital funding.
He has acted for clients on corporate transactions across a range
of sectors with a focus on the energy and natural resources and
technology industries.
Tim has been a partner at Wedlake Bell since
2007. Prior to that he was with Dechert and also spent two years in
Deutsche Bank's stockbroking team.
His appointment to Field Fisher Waterhouse’s
Corporate Group brings the total number
of partners to 25 across the UK, France, Germany and Belgium.
The team advise both institutional organisations and
entrepreneurial businesses on large and complex domestic and
cross-border transactions.
His appointment reflects the firm’s wider
strategy for focused growth in Corporate, IP & Technology and
Regulatory.
