Field Fisher Waterhouse advises on
acquisition of mobile platform and product development firm Apsmart

Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP
has advised venture capital firm DN Capital and Rahul Powar, the
creator of the first Shazam iPhone application, on the sale of
Apsmart to Thomson Reuters.
Founded in 2009 by DN
Capital and Rahul Powar, Apsmart is at the cutting edge of mobile
build and design. The team is well known for creating connected,
data-driven applications for iOS and Android devices.
Field Fisher Waterhouse
technology partner David Naylor led on the deal assisted by a team
that included corporate partner Laurence Lumb, corporate associates
Tom Ward and Guy Burman, senior technology associate Emily Parris,
and partners Andrew Prowse and Mark Gearing, who advised on tax
matters and employee share options.
