FFW advises Cluff Mining PLC on its £12.95 million placing and change of name to Ridge Mining plc

Field Fisher Waterhouse acted for Cluff Mining PLC on its £12.95
million placing and change of name to Ridge Mining plc.
The FFW team was led by corporate finance partner Anthony
Brockbank.
Cluff Mining PLC intends to use the net placing proceeds to fund
further exploration of its South African projects, in particular a
pre-feasibility study at Sheba's Ridge; the repayment of a loan
from Standard Bank; funding initial exploration on the Company's
new Fountain Ridge project and also for general working capital
purposes.
In view of the departure of Non-Executive Chairman Mr J G Cluff,
to commit to his new business interests, it was deemed appropriate
that the Company change its name to Ridge Mining plc.
