FFW advises House of Fraser on anchor store in White City development

Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP (FFW) has advised leading UK
retailer, House of Fraser on the lease for an anchor store in the
White City development, currently one of the largest retail
developments in northern Europe.
The White City development, based near Shepherds Bush in west
London is currently under construction and has a target opening
date of Autumn 2008. When completed it will be in excess of one
million sq. ft.
House of Fraser, one of the UK’s leading department store
groups, will take a 110, 000 sq. ft. anchor store in the new
development.
FFW real
estate partner, Edward Bannister advised
House of Fraser, and negotiated the agreement for lease with
Westfield. This latest deal demonstrates the strength of FFW Real
Estate’s Group and its expertise in the retail sector. FFW acts for
a number of retail clients including Bhs, Laura Ashley and
Oddbins.

the prestigious White City development. White City is an important
