FFW appoints new Business Development Director
12 December 2006
Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP (FFW) announces today the
appointment of David Stead who joins the firm as Business
Development Director. David joins from Eversheds where he was
Marketing Director and was instrumental in the firm’s recent
strategic review.
His appointment will build on FFW’s in-house commercial
expertise at a time when the firm has ambitious targets for
growth. In November 2004 FFW put in place a growth strategy
which targeted an increase in turnover from (then) £47 million to
£75 million by 2008. The firm posted an annual turnover
figure of £60 million in March 2006. At the end of October
this year, six month turnover was up 11.8% year on year, further
demonstrating the firm is on track to meet its targets.
David has previous experience in business strategy, marketing and
sales. He has worked in professional services for over 15
years and before joining Eversheds worked at KPMG and
Accenture. At FFW he will focus on developing and delivering
on the firm’s growth strategies.
FFW Managing Partner, Moira Gilmour said, “We
are delighted to have David on board. His appointment comes
at an exciting time when we are targeting profitable growth by
focusing on key clients, strategic lateral hires and investing in
people and infrastructure.”
