Sixth lateral hire for FFW in 2006

Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP (FFW) announces today the
appointment of Chris Fellowes, who joins the firm as a construction
partner.
This latest lateral partnership appointment is FFW’s sixth in
2006 and follows the arrival last month of Ian Craig, who joined
the firm’s intellectual property practice from US firm Dorsey &
Whitney, where he was head of IP in London.
Chris Fellowes, who joins from Manches, has over 23 years'
experience in the construction industry. Chris was previously
head of the construction team at Tite & Lewis having previously
been at Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw. He is also a Chartered
Quantity Surveyor.
Chris has wide experience in contentious and non-contentious
construction/engineering related matters. On the non-contentious
side, Chris regularly drafts and advises on project documentation
for developers, employers, funders and contractors on a mixture of
construction and engineering projects. Chris also advises financial
institutions, tenants and investors on construction related
documents, drafts and advises on PFI/PPP agreements and also on
facilities management and maintenance contracts.
On the contentious side, Chris has acted on a number of
adjudications (two of which have been the subject of High Court
proceedings), arbitrations, High Court actions and mediations for
employers, contractors and sub-contractors.
