FFW boosts restructuring capability with first lateral hire of 2007

Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP (FFW) announces today the
appointment of Robin Tutty, who will be
joining the firm to head the cross-departmental
Restructuring and Insolvency Group.
Robin joins FFW from Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Nicholson Graham
LLP, where he was joint-head of the Insolvency and Business
Recovery Group and a member of the Travel and Leisure Group. He
specialises in the corporate aspects of insolvency and corporate
recovery advising companies in financial difficulties and assisting
directors and stakeholders in devising business recovery plans.
He has more than twenty years of experience as a corporate
lawyer focusing his practice in the areas of corporate recovery,
work-outs and turnaround procedures. He has advised on various
aspects of notable business failures, rescues and turnarounds,
including the Brent Walker Group, the Fatty Arbuckles chain of
restaurants, Branston & Gothard, stockbrokers, and the boards
of Noble House Pub Company, the Scotsman Hotel Group and Noble
House Leisure Limited.
Robin also advises venture capitalists, lenders to early stage
companies and companies facing financial difficulties. He has
knowledge of various industry sectors including travel and has
advised several companies in this sector, in which FFW is a market
leader. He has lectured and written extensively on a wide range of
legal subjects and has served on Law Society working parties
considering proposed changes in legislation.
