Two new partners boost Field Fisher Waterhouse in Germany

Field Fisher Waterhouse Deutschland LLP has announced the
appointments of Dr.
Felix Wittern and Dr. Alexandra von
Bismarck who will join the recently opened office as
partners, strengthening the firm’s IP and technology capability.
Dr. Felix Wittern specialises in advising national and
international technology organisations as well as companies using
technology or implementing IT systems. He is experienced
in advising on outsourcing and software agreements, on
telecoms and internet law and on data protection issues. Dr Wittern
is also experienced in alternative dispute resolution and is a
Mediator (DAA).
Dr Wittern previously worked as deputy general counsel at AOL
Deutschland and prior to that, for Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
Dr. Wittern joins on 1 June 2007 and is responsible for the
setting up and the expansion of Field Fisher Waterhouse’s
technology practice in Hamburg.
Alexandra von Bismarck specialises in intellectual property with
a focus on trade marks and licensing. She joins the firm on 1 June
2007 and will grow the firm’s trade mark practice.
Before joining Field Fisher Waterhouse she worked for Harmsen
Utescher in Hamburg for over eight years.
