Field Fisher Waterhouse boosts commercial litigation practice with new hire

European law firm, Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP
announces today the appointment of partner Tony Lewis, who joins the firm’s Commercial Litigation practice from Peters &
Peters.
Tony is the second commercial litigation
partner to join the firm in as many months, following the
appointment of Kit Jarvis from Howrey at
the end of May.
Tony has over ten years’ experience in
litigation and is a recognised expert in fraud litigation,
investigations and emergency procedures including worldwide
freezing orders, search orders and asset tracing. He has advised on
a broad range of high profile, complex and multi-party cases and
has particular expertise in relation to the financial services sector. Tony also has
extensive mediation experience and acted in one of the largest
mediated settlements ever achieved.
Prior to joining Peters & Peters in 2005,
Tony worked at CMS Cameron McKenna for ten years.
Field Fisher Waterhouse announced ambitious growth
plans in May, aiming to more than double fee revenue to £200
million by 2012. This latest appointment is the sixth lateral hire
of the current financial year, bringing the total number of
partners at firm to 124.
