Field Fisher Waterhouse advises on purchase of Herefordshire’s biggest shopping centre

Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP has advised Croskeep Limited, the
property holding company of DRE Group Limited, on the multi-million
pound purchase of the Maylord Orchards Shopping Centre in Hereford
from the Prudential
Assurance Company Limited. The firm are also advising on the
ongoing management work involved in the shopping centre.
Croskeep Limited is a subsidiary of DRE Group
Limited and is a property investment company primarily investing in
town centre retail premises. This is the first large transaction
that Field Fisher Waterhouse has been instructed on by the
client.
Real Estate partner
Denise Sexton led on the deal, assisted
by Real Estate partner Jayne Elkins and Employment partner Peter
Holt. The team also included real estate solicitors Paula
Abrahamian, Sarah Cotterill, Jonathan Kalman, Ben Lamb, Gemma
McMahon and corporate solicitor Ronit Grant.
This deal demonstrates the strength of the firm’s
Real Estate Group and its expertise in
the retail sector. Field Fisher
Waterhouse acts for a number of retail clients including House of
Fraser, Bhs, Laura Ashley and Oddbins.
