Field Fisher Waterhouse Paris office appoints life sciences specialist

The Paris office of Field Fisher Waterhouse announces today the
appointment of partner, Olivier
Lantrès. His appointment will boost the firm’s
Europe-wide Life Sciences & Healthcare Group and will bring the total number
of lawyers in Paris to eight partners and 19 solicitors.
Olivier has joined Field Fisher Waterhouse
from US firm, Proskauer Rose LLP. He specialises in regulatory law and has particular expertise
in the field of life sciences and healthcare (pharmaceuticals,
medical devices and cosmetics). He has over ten year’s
experience advising clients in this sector on regulatory, environmental and product liability issues.
The hiring of Olivier follows on from the
appointment of a three partner team of competition and EU regulatory lawyers,
specialising in life sciences, who joined the firm’s Brussels
office last year. With Olivier’s appointment the firm now has
a cross-European Life Sciences & Healthcare Group, advising
clients in the sector on regulation, competition, corporate and
IP.
Field Fisher Waterhouse’s Paris office has
been open since November last year when it opened with seven
partners and 13 other fee-earners from the firm’s former European
Legal Alliance partner, Dubarry. It is a full service office
with a strong capability in corporate,
IP, technology,
commercial, competition, employment and finance. The office has had a successful
six months and has grown to eight partners and 19 solicitors.
