Insolvency partner joins Field Fisher Waterhouse’s Paris office

02 October 2008

The Paris office of Field Fisher Waterhouse announces today the appointment of partner Bruno Paccioni to head up its restructuring and insolvency practice.  His appointment will boost the firm’s Europe-wide restructuring and insolvency practice and will bring the total number of lawyers in Paris to nine partners and 15 solicitors.

Bruno has over twenty years’ experience advising businesses, banks and investment funds on restructuring and insolvency law. His practice covers the full range of services, from debt renegotiation and staff restructuring to insolvency applications.  He has particular expertise in advising investment funds, notably when taking a shareholding in companies that have run into financial difficulties, liability risk prevention, transfers and acquisitions.

He joins the firm from boutique practice Santoni-Paccioni.

Field Fisher Waterhouse’s Paris office opened in November last year with seven partners and 13 other fee-earners and has since grown with the appointment of life sciences partner Olivier Lantrès as well as a number of other fee earners.  It is a full service office with a strong capability in corporate, IP, technology, commercial, competition, employment and finance.

Mario Celaya, Managing Partner of Field Fisher Waterhouse in Paris said: “We are pleased to welcome Bruno Paccioni to the firm to head up our insolvency and restructuring capability in Paris. He has an excellent reputation in the sector and will be a great addition to the team, working closely with insolvency and restructuring specialists in our other European offices."
