Field Fisher Waterhouse advises Ipswich Town FC on Roy Keane’s appointment

Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP has advised
football club Ipswich Town FC on a raft of managerial changes
including the appointment of new manager Roy Keane and the
appointment new Chief Executive Simon Clegg.
Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane
resigned as Sunderland manager in December last year and is hoped
to take Ipswich Town FC from the Championship to the Premier
League. Simon Clegg joined as Chief Executive from the British
Olympic Association.
Field Fisher Waterhouse advised on the removal
of Ipswich Town’s former Chairman, David Sheepshanks, the outgoing
Chief Exec, Derek Bowden and the previous team manager, Jim
Magilton. The firm has also been advising on employment issues arising from the restructuring
of the club's retail, coaching and scouting operations.
