Edward Bannister advises on general development,
including retail, leisure and residential development and
development finance. He also acts for leading retailers and large
corporate occupiers as well as investment funds on sales and
purchases and finance, landlord and tenant matters. Recently
Edward has been acting for several of the larger Danish investment
funds active in the UK market.
He has advised the British Retail Consortium on various real
estate related issues. He has 20 years of experience in acting
for leading UK retail chains and stores and retail and other
developers and investors.

- acting for Quadrant Estates on an 80 acre B1, B2 and B8 scheme
in Ashford
- acting for House of Fraser on their anchor stores at White
City, Chester and High Wycombe.
- acting for AIB Bank on various high value residential and
commercial development loan facilities
- acting on the lease and purchase of Donington Park Race

He is on the City of London Law Society Property Sub-committee
and a contributing editor to the Property Law Journal and is in the
process of writing a book for the RICS on issues on commercial
leases, due to be published shortly.
