Ian Barnard is a partner in the
Finance Practice. He trained
at FFW and qualified as a solicitor in 1984. Since then he
has become experienced in a wide range of commercial contracts,
projects, financing transactions and regulatory issues.
Clients include both UK and international companies.
Ian has particular experience in a number of industry sectors,
including: energy, in particular gas transportation and storage,
advising on contractual and operational issues and projects; the
rail industry, advising train operators on regulated infrastructure
access documents and rolling stock leasing; and financing,
including ship and other asset finance. Ian also advises on
major commercial projects and on corporate transactions including
acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures.
