This was based on a survey of nearly 400 corporate privacy professionals.

Simon is a transactional and advisory lawyer specialising in outsourcing and information and communications technology.  He has considerable commercial experience in-house, having spent three years with Fujitsu Services.
 
He serves a range of sectors including technology, telecoms, financial services, property and retail on complex and innovative deals.  His clients range from start-ups and venture capital backed companies to some of the world's largest international corporations.
 
His outsourcing experience includes trading and funds management systems; property, facilities management, warehousing and logistics; payroll and accounting and a range of technology and business process outsourcing transactions.
 
Simon regularly advises on e-commerce, data protection and telecommunications privacy including emerging legal issues.  Much of his experience spans international aspects.
 
Simon regularly contributes to journals and speaks at seminars on current outsourcing, technology, information security, data privacy and governance issues affecting senior management and their organisations. He has appeared on the BBC's Working Lunch and Today programmes talking about technology and ecommerce issues and is a member of the National Outsourcing Association.

He is a member of the National Outsourcing Association, has served on Intellect's Outsourcing Group Committee and is a non-executive director of AccountAbility, a think tank dedicated to accountability and sustainable development.
