Joe Carrico is a US lawyer, specialising in
derivatives and ISDA Master Agreements.
Much of his career he was leading documentation/transaction
management teams reporting to the front office. Previously he
was Director, Counsel and Head of Trading Legal Services Europe at
Citi where he worked for three and a half years. Prior to that he
was head of the Capital Markets Legal Department at
Bankgesellschaft Berlin AG (now Landesbank Berlin AG) working both
in Berlin and London. He has also worked for Dresdner
Bank AG in Frankfurt, Germany, Unibank A/S (now Nordea) in
Copenhagen, Denmark and he started his in house career at Bergen
Bank (now Den norske Bank AS, in Bergen, Norway. Joe was
closely involved in the drafting of the ISDA Master Agreements in
1992 and 2002 and has worked on a variety of ISDAs product working
groups. While in Germany he was on the German working group
for the Deutsche Rahmenvertrag (the German Master Agreement).

University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, an MBA from
Cornell University and a BS in Business Administration from the
University of Southern California. Joe also speaks German,
Danish and Norwegian.
