Jayne Elkins is a real estate partner,
joining the firm in 1996. Jayne acts for a number of institutional
clients, property companies and charities and has some 20
years experience in the commercial property sector. She has
led FFW teams on the successful completion of a number of multiple
property transactions (including portfolio sales and purchases of
office and industrial properties for a major pension fund and the
acquisition of some 250 residential investment properties for a
private property company).
Jayne has extensive experience in large investment sales and
purchases (single properties and portfolios) various structures for
indirect investment in property and all aspects of commercial
landlord and tenant. She has recently provided the property
expertise in connection with the setting up of a number of Jersey
property unit trusts and has transferred a number of very
substantial properties into such trusts. She has also acted on a
number of major sales and leasebacks and acquisitions for end
users. Jayne also has experience of site assembly and
redevelopment, with particular expertise in rights of light
issues.
She is also experienced in all non-contentious areas of
commercial landlord and tenant work and has particular expertise in
the area of rights of light.
Jayne lectures regularly and has had a number of articles
published.
