Marie-Caroline Frochot is dual qualified as an Avocat (Paris Bar
1981) and a solicitor admitted in England & Wales in 1991.
She specialises in all aspects of corporate finance
and venture capital work, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures
and MBO/MBIs. She has wide experience of cross-border transactions
between France and the UK.
As head of FFW's French
Desk, she is also the main contact of French (or French
speaking) clients, whom she assists in collaboration with
colleagues in a wide variety of areas such as litigation, property,
employment and intellectual property, through teams of bilingual
lawyers.
Marie-Caroline writes numerous articles, many in French. Some of
these include: "The issues arising out of commercial leases in UK
acquisitions", "Negotiating a deal in the UK", "The issues arising
out of pensions in UK acquisitions", all of which have been
published in ‘Fusions & Acquisitions’ magazine.
