Edward Miller is a partner in the Finance Practice. He
acts on a wide range of finance transactions. These regularly
include derivatives (including netting and collateral issues)
structured finance transactions, secured lending (both syndicated
and bilateral), trade and commodity finance and consumer
credit. On these transactions, Edward acts for global
investment banks, investment managers, hedge funds and
end-users. His experience includes two secondments with
international banks.
Edward also regularly advises on projects and complex commercial
agreements and on corporate transactions (acquisitions, disposals,
joint ventures) - with particular expertise in the energy and hotel & leisure
sectors.
Edward regularly speaks on finance topics at external conferences,
and is lead author of FFW's highly acclaimed "Summary of ISDA Legal
Opinions on Close-Out Netting" which is widely accepted as the
standard guide in the market on this topic.
