Jeremy Miles' experience extends across the wide range of
commercial and regulatory aspects of content production, financing
and cross-platform distribution including underlying rights
acquisition, format and development deals and production financing
through tax funding and production incentive schemes. Jeremy has
significant experience of key talent and union agreements, complex
access arrangements and a broad range of content production and
broadcast compliance.
He has negotiated across a number of genres with all terrestrial
and the major UK satellite and cable broadcasters, and network and
cable stations in the US and worked with a wide range of content
production and distribution companies in both the established and
newer media. Jeremy has particular experience of domestic and
international co-productions in the US, Europe and China.
Jeremy has advised on projects involving brand funding of
content, computer gaming and interactivity ranging from fixed and
mobile PRTS applications to red-button interactivity. He has
advised on music and book publishing agreements, online content
distribution, DVD/home video licensing and format deals with major
international talent agencies and distributors.
Jeremy has produced and been a panellist on industry seminars on
interactive revenue streams in television, alternative funding
sources and content rights exploitation strategies and has spoken
frequently and published articles on digital media issues. He is
also a member of the Royal Television Society.
