Peter Sellar acts as of Counsel in the Competition and EU Regulatory Group of our
Brussels office. He is a Scots law qualified solicitor with a
Masters in European Community Law from the College of Europe,
Bruges, with considerable experience in many aspects of EC
regulatory law including environmental law (RoHS, WEEE, REACH,
etc.), antitrust, international trade law and litigation.
His practice primarily focuses on the free movement of goods with a
particular emphasis in the chemicals
sector. He is a specialist in pesticides and general chemicals risk
assessments, their rules and procedures and is involved in numerous
court cases at both the European and Member State levels.
Peter's practice involves him at the nexus of policy and law and he
is uniquely placed to provide services in both areas.
Peter has also advised extensively on antitrust issues particularly
in relation to industry associations and on fraud procedures,
customs, anti-dumping and general WTO issues.
