Rob Shooter is a partner in the Technology Law Group and
specialises in all areas of non-contentious technology law,
drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, as well as
e-commerce related projects.
The main area of Rob's practice involves outsourcing agreements,
large-scale technology procurements and licensing related
work.
In his work for the public sector, Rob has taken lead
responsibility in ground-breaking deals for government departments.
He has also acted for a number of educational establishments and
local authorities, as well as service providers to the public
sector. He is an expert in the OGC guidance relating to IT deals in
the public sector.
In his work for the private sector, Rob acts for a number of
financial services institutions, property companies and technology
providers and customers.
He regularly speaks at conferences and has lectured to LLM students
at the University of London. He is also a regular contributor to
legal and computer journals. Rob has been a member of a working
party for the Office of the Information Commissioner.
Rob has a Masters in IT Security.
