Mary Timms is a partner in Field Fisher
Waterhouse’s Public and Regulatory Law
Group. She has wide ranging experience in professional
regulatory matters, including all aspects of the investigation,
preparation and presentation of cases before the disciplinary and
fitness to practise panels of many different professional
regulatory bodies, both within the healthcare and financial
sectors. She also advises on policy. Her work includes
judicial reviews and High Court appeals. She also sits as a
Legal Assessor to a number of disciplinary tribunals.
She is ranked by Chambers as a
leading individual; they also note that, “Peers credit Mary Timms
with having a ‘comprehensive academic understanding of where the
field is going’".
Mary has considerable experience in training
members of disciplinary and fitness to practise panels, including
both the professional and lay members, and the legal
advisers.

Regulatory & Disciplinary Lawyers (ARDL).
