Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP’s Privacy and Information Law Group

This was based on a survey of nearly 400
corporate privacy professionals.

Dr. Felix Wittern is a partner in the Hamburg office of Field
Fisher Waterhouse. He advises national and international technology
firms, specifically companies utilising or implementing IT
products on IT
law. He has particular experience on outsourcing and software
agreements, on telecoms and internet law and on data
protection issues.
Felix studied law at the University of Hamburg and Hastings
College of the Law (San Francisco). He worked in the IT group at
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and for seven years in the legal
department of AOL Deutschland. Underpinning his negotiation and
mediation skills as well as his preference for alternative dispute
resolutions, he is a Mediator (DAA). Furthermore, he
is training to become a specialised IT-Lawyer - “Fachanwalt
für IT-Recht”.
Felix is admitted to the German bar and advises his clients
in German and English.
