James Warren

James Warren is a partner in our Employment Practice. He qualified in New Zealand and specialised in employment law there before moving to the UK.

Prior to joining Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP in 2003, James gained experience dealing with a broad range of both contentious and non-contentious employment work while based in-house for a large public sector employer. He has handled numerous long-running and complex unfair dismissal, discrimination and trade union cases, from the Employment Tribunal level through to the Court of Appeal, and at the Central Arbitration Committee.

James focuses on providing change management advice, regularly advising on complex public sector and outsourcing TUPE and reorganisation issues, while also having an interest and expertise in employment agency issues.

James regularly presents at both seminars and workshops as part of the Employment Practice's annual training programme. He has also spoken at external conferences on a variety of employment law issues and provides in-house training for clients.
