Michael Adam is a founding partner of the Hamburg office
focusing on corporate
and
competition law.
Michael’s particular expertise are cross-border transactions and
issues. He leads and co-ordinates multi-jurisdictional M&A
transactions and merger control filings. Michael has in-depth
knowledge of the medical devices, technology, media, consumer
products and automotive industries as well as of venture capital
transactions. His clientele encompasses global players, the German
middle class as well as individual shareholders.
Before setting up the Hamburg office of Field Fisher Waterhouse
Michael worked for the European Commission and for other
international law firms in the UK and Germany.
Michael studied law in Germany and the Netherlands. He bears the
title of a Master of Laws (European and comparative law) awarded by
the University of Maastricht.
Michael is among the frequently recommended German lawyers in
the JUVE Handbook.
He advises his clients in German and English.
