Oliver Abel Smith’s practice encompasses a wide range of
finance transactions. Oliver’s particular
expertise lies in trade and commodity
finance (in both primary and secondary market transactions),
asset finance (with a focus on yachts
and aircraft), syndicated and bilateral corporate lending,
structured finance and stock lending, repo and other derivative
transactions. His experience also covers joint venture and other
financing arrangements, in particular in the oil and gas sector.
Oliver acts for financial institutions, corporates and investment
managers.
Oliver works across a range of sectors which includes financial institutions, energy, life sciences
and media & entertainment.
