Andrew
Blankfield is head of our Corporate Group
and handles transactional and advisory work for public and
private companies and their directors and shareholders. He advises
UK and overseas clients on acquisitions and disposals, joint
ventures, fundraisings and restructurings. He has acted for
numerous clients raising venture capital and also in insolvency
related situations.
His clients range from mining companies to advertising
businesses and he has a particular specialism in the converging
digital communications industry, where he acts for major
telecommunications operators, broadcasters, content providers and
software and services companies.
He is a frequent speaker on a variety of company law issues,
notably in relation to the liabilities of directors.
Andrew also led the team that won the TMT Team of the Year
at the 2011 Legal Business Awards.
