Andrew
Blankfield is head of our Corporate Group and handles transactional
and advisory work for public and private companies and their
directors and shareholders. He advises UK and international clients
on acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, fundraisings and
restructurings. He has acted for numerous clients raising venture
capital and also in insolvency related situations.
His clients range from mining companies to
advertising businesses and he has a particular specialism in the
media and technology sector, where he acts for broadcasters,
network and platform operators, content providers and software and
services companies.
He has advised on the structuring of a number
of complex joint ventures, leading the team that won the TMT
Team of the Year at the 2011 Legal Business Awards for its work
on the YouView IPTV project.
Andrew is listed as a key individual for
Corporate/M&A: Mid-Market in Chambers 2012 and the 2011 Legal
500 describes him as "one of the top corporate partners in
London".
