Clare is a senior solicitor with broad ranging expertise in the
financial services field.
She has extensive experience of advising corporate entities,
lenders and other clients in the financial services sector on a
wide range of matters, including the regulatory impact of
e-payments legislation; investing in unregulated investment funds
and products; the commercial and financial aspects of corporate
restructurings, private company acquisitions, asset purchases and
secured and unsecured lending; and on more general contractual
matters, such as terms and conditions of trade.
Clare regularly speaks on regulatory matters as part of the Field
Fisher Waterhouse seminar programme, on topics including the
Payment Services Regulations 2009. Her article, “The
impact of the impending FSA reforms on e-payments” was
published in E-Finance and Payment Law and Policy in March
2011.
She has also written the following
