David Clark handles a full range of pensions work for both corporate and trustee
clients, including documentation and rule drafting; sex and age
discrimination; mergers & acquisitions; scheme funding issues;
investment and investment management issues; termination and
winding-up; trustee duties and liabilities; tax issues in relation
to pensions schemes and Pensions Act compliance.
In addition to advice to both trustees and corporate clients,
David's work has included advising regulatory bodies on their
pensions arrangements and on pensions aspects of significant
governmental outsourcing projects.
David has international experience, having worked in both New
York and Hong Kong as well as in London. He is a member of the
Association of Pensions Lawyers and has participated in the
International Pensions and Employee Benefits Lawyers
Association.
David is experienced in working in the financial institutions,
energy, public sector and transport sectors.
David was the author of "Hong Kong Retirement Schemes"
and contributor to many publications about pensions and employment
issues in Hong Kong. He also spoke at numerous seminars and
conferences, including participating in a forum on pensions issues
between representatives of the Hong Kong retirement schemes
industry and officials of the Chinese government in Beijing.
