Rebecca Cotter has experience in advising commercial clients,
particularly in the industrial and
energy sector, on a range of commercial property transactions
including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals,
leases, easements, overage arrangements and franchises. She has had
particular experience advising on a wide range of issues arising
from the management of a portfolio of retail filling stations for
an major UK oil company as well as dealing with the disposal of a
large number of operational and non-operational petrol filling
stations and advising on the environmental issues associated with
such transactions.
She also advises a broad range of commercial clients including
telecommunications operators, data services and IT services
organisations and retailers on commercial property matters,
involving retail, industrial and office premises.
Rebecca specialises in industrial real
estate, in particular telecommunications, energy (primarily the oil industry) and retail.
Rebecca is a member of the Real Estate Practice’s Senior
Assistants Group and regularly presents seminars to clients on
topical commercial real estate issues.
