Marie-Caroline Frochot's main areas of expertise are corporate finance, mergers
and acquisitions and joint ventures.
She acts for a wide variety of French clients across most industry
sectors with an emphasis on information
technology, media, healthcare and sport.
Marie-Caroline has wide experience of cross-border transactions
between France and the UK. For the convenience of her French
clients, she has set up the French Desk
team of French speakers who are mostly bi-national.
As head of the firm’s French country desk, she is also the
primary contact of French (or French speaking) clients, whom she
assists in collaboration with colleagues in a wide variety of areas
such as litigation, property, employment and intellectual property,
through teams of bilingual lawyers.
Marie-Caroline works in all sectors in which her French clients
operate with a particular emphasis on new technologies, media,
healthcare and sport.
Marie-Caroline writes numerous articles, many in French. Some of
these include: “The Issues Arising out of Commercial Leases in UK
Acquisitions”, “Negotiating a Deal in the UK”, “The Issues Arising
out of Pensions in UK Acquisitions”, all of which have been
published in Fusions & Acquisitions magazine.
Marie-Caroline regularly lectures in France on companies
acquisitions in the UK.
Marie-Caroline is fluent in French and has a working knowledge
of Spanish.
