Alice Hickey is a solicitor in our Public and
Regulatory Group. She has experience of many aspects of the
Group’s work, including the preparation of cases before the Fitness
to Practise Panels of the General Medical Council and the General
Chiropractic Council. Alice was seconded to the Dutton Inquiry, an
investigation into the allocation of funding by Sport England.
Before joining the firm, Alice was previously employed in the
criminal law department of another London law firm. She gained
experience in dealing with particularly difficult clients, youths
and those with mental health problems.
Alice also worked an 11 week internship at a USA law firm in
Texas where she was involved in all aspects of capital and non
death capital cases and researching various areas of capital
punishment law for trial motions expert testimony. Due to the
nature of the work she was often required to handle sensitive cases
and clients.
