Mark Holah is head of the Trade Marks and Brand Protection Group. He is dual-qualified as a solicitor and a Registered Trade Mark Attorney. 


He has wide experience in all aspects of intellectual property, both contentious and non-contentious, with a particular emphasis on trade marks and designs. His practice now focuses exclusively on brand clearance, protection, exploitation and enforcement, both in the UK and globally, and he helps to protect some of the world's best known brands.

Mark has been published extensively in a wide range of intellectual property journals and speaks regularly on trade mark and branding issues. He has spoken at two International Trademark Association (INTA) Annual Meetings and at two Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) conferences. Mark also gives revision courses for the ITMA examinations and lectures at the University of Cambridge as part of its Masters of Bioscience Enterprise on IP law.
