Richard is a Solicitor in the Intellectual Property group at Field Fisher
Waterhouse. He qualified as a Barrister and Solicitor of the
High Court of New Zealand in 2005.
From 2006 to 2011, he was employed by Henry Hughes, an
intellectual property firm in New Zealand, where he worked on a
wide range of trade
mark matters, including prosecution, enforcement, border
protection, litigation and opposition, revocation and invalidity
actions.
In 2011, Richard moved to London and joined Field Fisher
Waterhouse. He advises clients on trade mark matters and brand
protection - from pre-filing through to post-registration
actions.
