Emma Kingstone joined Field Fisher Waterhouse in
January 2011. She is an experienced litigator who has acted on a
broad range of contentious matters for household name clients in
the media and
entertainment industries.
Emma specialises in resolving disputes relating to intellectual
property rights. Her main practice areas are copyright, trade marks, confidential
information and passing off. Her recent experience includes the
successful defence of a well known television production company in
a copyright infringement claim relating to a programme format.
Emma also advises on Internet-related disputes and has recovered
contested domain names for high profile clients in the film and
publishing industries.
Emma has also represented media clients at mediation.
She is a member of Women in Film and Television.
