Géraldine Lazorthes works in our Intellectual Property group in Paris. She
provides assistance in all aspects of intellectual property, in
both contentious and non-contentious matters. Her main areas of
practice include handling brand and trade
mark clearance searches, trade mark filing, licensing, and
dispute resolution, design litigation, and domain name recovery
proceedings. She also has a significant experience in IP due
diligences.
She is a member of the Association des Praticiens du Droit des
Marques et des Modèles (APRAM) and the Forum des Jeunes
Professionnels de la Propriété Industrielle (FJPI).
Géraldine was admitted to the Paris bar in April 2006. She holds
a DESS in international business law and a master’s degree in
private law from the University Toulouse 1. She also holds a
master’s degree in business law from the Complutense Universidad in
Madrid.
Prior joining Field Fisher Waterhouse, Géraldine spent two years
with an international law firm and one year with a major cosmetic
company as an in-house lawyer.
As well as her native French, Géraldine is fluent in English and
Spanish.
