Kami Naghdi is a Partner in the Media Group, advising on all
aspects of media and entertainment law. He is listed in the Legal 500 for his
expertise in both Media and Entertainment and Media Finance, where
the firm is top-tier ranked.
Kami's practice has a focus on finance, production, exploitation
and acquisition of audiovisual content across all media platforms.
His clients include major
brands, financiers, content creators, production companies,
sales agents, distributors and CGI/effects companies. He
spent 2005-2010 in
house in film finance, production and distribution
entities during which time he
produced eight international feature films with leading cast
and filmmakers. He has detailed experience with leading
international sales agents, distributors, financiers and the major
talent agencies in Los Angeles and London.
He is regularly asked to attend MA courses in film as a visiting
lecturer in film legal & business affairs. He has taught at
MEGA, TVBS (both part
of the EU’s Media Programme) and French film
institution, La Femis.
He was called to Bar of England & Wales in 1998.
