Allan is dual-qualified as a solicitor and a Registered
Trade Mark Attorney. Prior to joining the firm, Allan was a
Director of one of the worlds leading Branding
consultancies. He has also practised as a barrister in Hong
Kong and as a Partner in one of the UK's leading firms of Patent
and Trade Mark Attorneys.
Allan has wide experience in all aspects of intellectual
property, both contentious and non-contentious, with a
particular emphasis on
trade marks. His practice now focuses almost exclusively on
brand clearance, protection, exploitation and enforcement, both in
the UK and globally.
Allan advices global clients in all sectors and acts for many Internationally
recognised brand owners.
He is a regular speaker at International
conferences on brand protection issues.
Allan is the head of the firm's India
Group.
